Mom has been at Village Green for 18 months now. Norma and her staff have provided compassionate care, not just for the day to day living but ensuring fun and creative activities for the residents. Norma makes all the residents (and family of residents) feel special and loved. Some of the residents may not be able to express verbally, but you can ALWAYS tell by how their faces light up when engaging with Norma. And when a resident needs a urgent bathroom run/change and the staff are occupied with other residents, Norma and her med techs do not hesitate to step in for the comfort of the resident. Caregiving at this level is not just a job, but a calling. We are so grateful to have a team of angels caring for Mom.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the management and the staff at Village Green Woodlands. When our dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s shortly after our mother passed it was the most traumatic, gut wrenching moments in our lives. We searched and visited many memory care facilities and found not only the best place but the most wonderful, caring, empathetic manager, Mrs. Norma Castillo. She has such a rapport with the caregivers, families and the residents. I am truly grateful we found her and when she moved to another of the Village Green locations we followed her. We absolutely love the owners of Village Green, the culture of love and care they have created and the professionalism of the staff. The executive director, Norma, is involved in every aspect of the residents care and she truly loves them all. She is so kind and knows how to calm and help each one.
