Hello there! My journey into the world of memory care began at our Tomball location, where I embarked as a "Manager in Training." It was there that I cultivated not only knowledge but also a profound affection for memory care and the unique Village Green culture. From Tomball, I ventured to our Woodlands location, before finally finding my true home at our Conroe site, where I happily resided for the past two years! Now, I am working in our Home Team as the Operations Manager, overseeing the North side of our Houston communities.
My passion for Resident Care ignited when I recognized a pressing need for leaders who embody compassion and empathy, particularly in the realm of elderly care. Witnessing firsthand the importance of providing dignity and respect to our seniors, who often lack a voice of their own, inspired me to become their unwavering advocate—I wanted to be their voice.
With a background in Higher Education, I proudly graduated from Texas Tech University with both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Alongside, I pursued a Minor in Nutrition, Health Professions, and Addiction Disorders, and even gained valuable experience in Nursing School. I'm committed to applying the knowledge gleaned from my academic journey to enhance the day-to-day lives of my residents. Furthermore, I've completed my Certified Assisted Living Manager (CALM) training, utilizing that expertise to benefit our community.
During my downtime, you'll often find me in the company of my beloved dog Zoe, indulging in leisurely walks or unwinding with a bit of television.
