Yoo-Hoo! I'm Brina Norwood, the heart and soul behind the scenes as the Manager of Operations at Village Green Memory Care Home. With nine years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), my journey into caregiving began with loving and caring for my own grandmother. Even after her passing, my passion for caring only grew stronger.
My path led me to Village Green Memory Care right at the onset of the pandemic. Starting as a universal caregiver, I poured my heart into every task. A year later, I was offered a management position—a significant shift in my career that I wholeheartedly embraced. What makes this journey so special is that it's more than just about helping with everyday tasks; it's about becoming part of a larger family. We laugh together, celebrate holidays, birthdays, and cherish the little moments that make life beautiful.
When I'm not at Village Green, you'll likely find me soaking up quality time with my family. My husband and I are avid foodies, always on the lookout for new eateries to explore. We also adore beach outings and simply enjoying each other's company.
In the grand scheme of things, I'm incredibly grateful for the love and support of my family, both at home and within the Village Green family. It's a privilege to be part of such a warm and welcoming community.
