Hello everyone! I’m Archie Trotty, and I have the privilege of serving as the Manager of Resident Care here at Village Green.
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and my journey into healthcare began at a very young age while helping care for my grandfather, who lived with dementia for many years. That experience stayed with me—it shaped my heart and ultimately led me to this path. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to supporting individuals living with conditions affecting memory.
I am a graduate of Contemporary Learning Center and began my career as a Medication Aide (MHR). I entered the geriatric field at just 23 years old and have since had the opportunity to grow through several roles, including Administrative Assistant and Resident Care Coordinator. Each step has given me a deeper understanding of both the clinical and operational side of care, but more importantly, it has strengthened my passion for what we do.
I joined Village Green as a PRN team member, and within six months, I knew this was where I belonged. I transitioned to full-time and was shortly after promoted to Manager of Resident Care—a role I have proudly held throughout my 4½-year journey here.
For me, this work is so much more than a career—it is truly my calling. I take great pride in creating a warm, loving environment where our residents feel safe, valued, and at home. Being able to bring joy, laughter, and comfort into their lives each day is what drives me and fills my heart.
Outside of the community, I am a proud parent to my son, who brings so much joy, purpose, and balance to my life. Everything I do, both personally and professionally, is rooted in love—and that’s exactly what I strive to bring into our community every single day.
