Hey there! My name is Archie Trotty III, and I'm thrilled to share a little glimpse into my journey with you. I graduated from Contemporary in the Center and spent some time in college before life took me on a different path. When my beloved grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, I made the decision to move in with my grandmother to help care for him. Those first few years were challenging, but his strength and love inspired me deeply.
For a decade, we walked that journey together, navigating the ups and downs of Alzheimer's. Eventually, we made the difficult decision to bring him into my home, where my first job in the senior care community awaited. Working in geriatrics opened my eyes to a passion I never knew I had. I transitioned to MHR (mental health retardation) briefly, but my heart always pulled me back to geriatrics.
Starting on the floor, I immersed myself in every aspect of care, eventually stepping into the role of administrative assistant—a position I held for three fulfilling years. My career path led me to become a residential care coordinator, and ultimately, to my role as manager Village Green at Champion Forest. From there, I found my home in our Conroe location! It's been an incredible journey, and I wouldn't change a thing.
My grandfather, my heart and inspiration, is the reason I entered this field. His resilience and boundless love fueled my passion for ensuring others smile daily. Working in geriatrics is a joy because each resident brings something unique to the table. Stepping into their world is an adventure filled with warmth, love, and surprises—a constant reminder of why I love what I do.
A little about me: I'm a bubbly, outgoing soul with a heart full of love. I'm also a proud dad to an energetic five-year-old son who teaches me patience every day. In my spare time, you'll find me soaking up quality moments with him and cherishing time spent with family.
