ABOUT VILLAGE GREEN

A Home We'd Want to Live In.

Thirteen small memory care homes across Dallas and Houston, family-owned since 2011, and still run the way the first one was built: personally.

FAMILY FIRST

Ownership You Can Actually Meet.

Village Green is owned and run by one family, and it works the way that sounds. The owners give tours, including on weekends. Their numbers end up in families' phones. And the conversations stay honest: if another community is a better fit for your family, we'll say so and help you get there

THE PEOPLE BEHIND IT

Meet The Family Behind Village Green

Village Green began with a question. Before the first home opened, Sabir met Dr. Bill Thomas, the geriatrician who created the Eden Alternative, and asked him, in person, the best way to care for people late in life. The answer, small standalone homes built around nature, pets, and music, became the blueprint, even when experienced voices said a sixteen-bed home was too small to work. The first one opened in Conroe in 2011 with a rule that still holds: nothing here should look, smell, or feel like an institution.

The model proved itself in the hardest years. When COVID reached a building, their daughter Aria moved in and cared for the residents herself until it passed. That's what family-owned means here, and it hasn't changed.

What Makes Village Green Unique

Family-Owned Leadership

The owners are personally in the communities, on tours and on the phone.

Built for Memory Care

Standalone homes of 16 to 28 residents, never a wing in a larger building.

Small, Home-Like Living

Their own furniture, their own routine, sunlight and backyards.

 High Quality Care Ratio

More caregivers per resident than Texas requires.

Any hour, any day, and families take us up on it.

Recognized For Compassionate Care

Today: Thirteen communities across Dallas and Houston, still family-run, still small on purpose.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Sunlight, Gardens, Pets, and Music.

The Eden Alternative's answer became Village Green's blueprint: natural light, open rooms, gardens, pets, music, and independence wherever residents want it. Days follow the person, so mornings start when they start, and the calendar bends to what residents actually love doing. When something's needed, from a haircut to the dentist, it comes to them. And Sabir designed the homes so families would want to linger too, and they do.

The World Comes to Them

If We're Not the Right Fit, We'll Help You Find It.

Ask us anything, including whether Village Green is right at all. If your family needs a different level of care, a different budget, or simply a different fit, we'll say so, and we'll point you toward options we trust. The team has walked families through this decision since 2011, and the guidance is free either way. You'll leave the call knowing your next step.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of care does Village Green provide?

Assisted living meets memory care, in small standalone homes. Residents range from those needing light daily support to those needing full care, and as needs change, the care changes with them, in the same home, with the same people. When it's needed, hospice comes to them, so there's never another move.

Does someone need a dementia diagnosis to live here?

No. Some residents live with Alzheimer's or another form of dementia, some are recovering from a stroke, and some simply want to age in a small home where help is always close. An assessment, wherever they are, at home or at the hospital, tells us what support they need.

What does Village Green cost, and do you accept Medicaid?

Village Green is private pay and long-term care insurance; we're not able to accept Medicaid. Every home runs on one flat, all-inclusive monthly rate that doesn't change as care needs grow, no tiers, no add-ons. For exact numbers, call us. And if the budget points somewhere else, we'll help you find the right fit anyway, at no charge.

Are pets welcome?

Yes, and more than welcome: cared for. A pet's feeding and walks are written into the resident's daily plan, so the two of them keep their life together. Some homes have a community dog of their own.

How fast can a move-in happen?

As fast as your family needs. It starts with a call and a free assessment wherever your family member is, and because Village Green is family-owned, we can move quickly when it's urgent, same-day and weekend move-ins have both happened. The phone is answered around the clock.

What makes Village Green different from other memory care?

Memory care is all we do, and every home is kept small on purpose, so every resident is known personally. The owners give the tours themselves, even on weekends. But the best answer comes from our families: they're here every day, ask them anything, and we'll introduce you.

Can family visit anytime?

Any hour, any day. There are no visiting hours to check, and most families visit daily or close to it. Come for lunch, stay for dinner, or just stop by on the way home.
